Ready for a Home
Our adoption fee is $500. Our Fees go directly back into the rescue to pay for food, meds, shelter etc. for all the horses at BGB.
Call us and visit about the horse and arrange to come by and see. We do all adoptions after a visit with the owners on
- What they are looking for
- Where they live
- Understanding the responsibility of owning
- Do they have facilities to keep one
- Understand they we may visit to check up
- Know that if they for any reason can't keep the horse down the road they call us first
- The fee is non-refundable.
Wildfire
She is a 4 year old mare that is beautiful. She is green broke and is just like her name. She is strong and will be a great horse for someone soon.
Chevy
Chevy was abandoned on some property in the Teton area. No one ever came back or looked for this great boy. He is full of life. He is ~4 years old and blind in one eye, but that in no way stops him. He is full of energy and has lots of love to give. He is rideable, but a little too much for a child.
Rusty
About 12 years old, but needs some down time. He is beautiful and loves attention. He is in great health but has a leg that needs to rest for awhile.
Sierra
A beautiful roan girl. She is about 9 years old, and came from a rough situation. Her weight is doing much better. Still needs work but with time and patience she will be great.
Bella
What a beautiful girl. Her weight is doing great now and her attiitude is much better. She still has a lot of work yet to accomplish, but will be great. She is about 7 years old.
Dottie
Pretty girl about 8 years old. She came in with Polly, Bella and Sierra. She has come along way in the trust mode, and will be wonderful someday soon.
Nova
About 5 years old, this boy was untouchable. He has come a long way. He arrived with Brombi and Smokey.
Chancey
A buckskin color mare, approx 9 years old is a sweet and beautiful girl. She was stolen from her original owner and returned months later. When she returned, abuse was evident in her behavior. The owner could not do anything with her, so she is here. She has speed and lots of energy. She rides like a dream, but needs an experienced rider and someone to be patient with her. We are planing to let her rest for the winter at least, and get some more time on her.
Rosie
Rosie was rescued by a lady in Utah. She was helped and then sent on to us. She is a sweet girl.
Faith
This little girl is about 1 1/2 years old. She was injured and never cared for. After some TLC and vet care, she is doing wonderful. She will make a great mare as she grows . With some more time and care, she will be fine.
Smokey
He is a beautiful Arabian gelding, who's owner opted for alcohol instead of hay. Showed signs of abuse, he and the other 2 that came with him are doing much better.
Brombi
About 12 years old, he is a beautiful gelding. He is doing great on the weight and the handling. He came with Smokey
Harley
She cam in very underweight, needing hoof care and showed signs of neglect and sometype of abuse. She is about 5 years old and an Arabian. She is beautiful and will one day make someone a wonderful girl. FAST!!
Polly
A pretty Arabian girl, cam with Dottie. She has progressed quite a bit. She still has a way to go, but great health.
